Privacy

Workfile is run by Pain Driven Dev LLC. This page says what we collect, who else handles it, and when we delete it.

What we collect

Your email address and, if you give it, your name. The property address and unit count. The files you upload. Your payment is handled by Stripe, and we keep only the Stripe checkout session id and whether it was paid.

Who handles it

• Vercel hosts the site and holds your uploaded files in private storage.
• Stripe takes the payment. It sees your payment details and we do not. It never sees your files.
• Resend sends our emails to you, including the delivery email that carries the Word file. Resend keeps a copy of each email it sends, attachment included, for its own retention period.
• Anthropic provides the model that reads text from your documents to extract the facts and then drafts the prose from those facts. Anthropic's commercial API does not train on customer data, and it keeps inputs only for the abuse-monitoring period in its published policy. See its commercial terms.

We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers.

Private storage

Your files are never public. They sit in private storage. Only we can read them. The upload page lists the names of what you uploaded to whoever holds your order's upload link, so keep that link to yourself.

Working copies and delivery

Alex keeps a local working copy of your inputs while drafting and deletes it on the same 90-day schedule as the stored files. The delivered Word file passes through Resend as an email attachment, and Resend keeps a copy for its own retention period.

Deletion

We delete your inputs and the deliverable 90 days after delivery, or sooner if you ask. The exception is the order-form checkbox that reads “You may keep my inputs to improve the service. They will never be shared or published.” It is unticked unless you tick it. If you did tick it, we may keep your inputs, and we will never share or publish them. Either way, you can ask us to delete your data at any time.
